So knowing this, you can determine how much warranty is left once you see the paperwork when you get there.
Oh hey thats awesome. my last purchase was back in 2016 when the BMW standard warranty was just 3 year 36k miles. Good to know haha

Thank you!!

Bought it today! Thanks for all the advise everyone! I do have some questions though:

1) I thought the standard BMW warranty that covers oil change and other stuff are transferable? The finance director told me that post-2017 in USA, only new car and certified cars can have those transferred without cost. So I am paying $20 every month to keep the standard warranty. 36K mile and 3 years since service. Essentially I am only getting 2 years since I pick up today.

2) my 2019 x5 has executive package, which should have the sky lounge. But i cant seem to get it work. I turned ambient lighting on and off and on and switched color, but the sunroof glass doesnt seem to light up :/. my software was 2019.07. anybody got thoughts?

Congratulation with your new car!

Sky lounge should be visible directly. You should see edged figures in the glass in daylight. If you don't see those you don't have it. If you see them and they don't light up at night first check if it is turned on. And if it is your led strip might not be working.

In Europe factory warranty continues 2 years even if you sell it. Strange that this is different in the us. 20 $ a month is not a lot. Those 480 $ will be worth it if something needs to be fixed.

I doesnt look like my exe. package has it......

However, I called the sales guy and asked if its got it and he said yes before I even went in lol. I guess it's my "fault" that I did not check it before I drove off??? No big deal, not a deal breaker but was just expecting it.. Everything else was awesome!

Yep, it was repackaged after launch and repackaged again for 2021

2019 ZPX = $2050 but you'd need to add ZPP ($2050) and ZPK ($700) for equivalent packaging for a total of $4800
2020 ZPX = $4550 (w M Sport, 50i, M50i) / $5600 (40i xLine)

You probably already figured it out, but the LED Sky Lounge did not end up making it for US 2019 X5s. Apparently the EU X5s did get it for 2019. For 2020 the X5s with Executive package have it.

Did you get it form Bill Jacobs BMW by chance? I just bought my 2020 from those guys... I am up north near South Bend.
