PPF/ Ceramic coating questions and ATX recommendations
Looking ahead to delivery of my X5m, wanted recommendations on PPF for my car. I called Xpel and they said they themselves do installs but was quoted around 8k for a full PPF job. I feel that's quite expensive. Was thinking if a track package ppf is sufficient. Also does anyone recommend doing a ceramic coating?
I'd highly appreciate any recommendations for PPF installers in/around Austin |

If its frozen paint, do it. Within 1,500 miles I had rock chips. I then PPF'ed it. 8k is about right. If they do it correctly, the door handles come off, the tail lights etc. come off, and they tuck it so there are very minimal seams.
If its gloss paint, PPF is overkill unless you're deathly afraid of scratches. Cermaic coat is an asbsolute must. |
