OP Quick question... do you know if the buttons for Lock Switch just pop off? Looking to replace my Lock Switch button as it is scratched... Wondering if the door panel has to come off to remove the assembly then pull of the switch or simply use a trim tool to pop off and pop the replacement in.

Would be interested to see a DIY / Guide on this... do you have contact information of the group that helped you? May be I can call to request info if you do not have readily available?

I was trying to do the same, but I didn't want to brutally force it...Not sure if they just pop out

Purchased the lock switch. Appears the button can pop off, though at the risk of breaking the point in which it pivots. When ordering the whole unit is shipped.
