How do I even find out if I have air suspension?

Based on above reference photos I think 15-20 seems probably the perfect setup for semi aggressive stance. I have continential tires, not pirelli.

Does air suspension makes it stick out even more or not?

Air suspension will allow you to lower the car and when it is lower the wheels will camber in which translate to needing a bigger spacer to fill the gap. People with air suspension that always drive in sport height usually goes for a wider set of spacers.

I recommend at least 18mm in the rear.

If I were to do it again, I would do 12mm (F) - 18mm (R).
Hmm, it probably because Pirelli.
All that I've been measuring are on Continental.

No, your car doesn't have air suspension.
Should the guidance/recommendation be updated? 12F, 15-18R depending on tire brand.

Fantastic customer service from RG. I recently ordered BMC filters and Wheel spacers for my 21' M50i. Will be doing more business with them.

Tried this today to see if I could figure out what was needed to make it flush.

I am running 12/18 mm on Pirellis

At regular height there was 1/8" from the little lip where the tire and the wheel meet to the inner side of the stick on both front and back.

At sport height 1/4"
At loading height 3/8"

For the ones running at regular height 15/20mm is what I would suggest.
For the ones at sport or running links
An extra 6 mm should do the trick. I think moving the 18mm to the front and going 22mm in the rear will do it. That will bring the tire lip to the outer side of the fender. For the ones that like the top edge of the tire to be flush with the outer side of the fender add another 6mm.

All the measures and reference are with the center arch.

I wonder how that would change with Continentals or Michelins.

I have not seen in person a car with spacers running Continental but based on Ben post and all the testing he did. Looks like there is a 5-6 mm difference between Continental and Pirelli.
I have not seen the Michelins in 22 but if they run like the 21's in the M cars it should be like the Pirellis.

Great info, I’m on Pirellis new to this forum and in need of some spacers. Can’t decide if I should do 12-15 or 15-18

I am running 12/18 on Pirellis (22" wheels) and even at regular height there is some gap. It all depends on what look you are going for. Flush or just close the gap. If it is flush what you want then you will need a bit more than 12/18.
You can your own measurements before making a decision.
If I was buying spacers I will start with 15/20 for a standard height car on Pirellis. It might not be fully flush but you will not be disappointed.

I definitely recommend 15-18 at a minimum with 21/22" rims and any brand tire and that would be considered conservative.

Thanks AECDI sounds like we have similar setup, I’m going for the flush look so I’ll start with 15-20.

I highly recommend 15/20 as a starting point independently of tire brand for both 21/22" wheels.

Btw, 20mm in the rear is still not 100% flush!

I will be selling my 12/15 spacers if anybody is interested.

What size did you replaced the 12/15 with?

I bought a set of forged wheels and picked an offset that's equivalent to OEM + 14mm/18mm spacers front/rear respectively. I do think that 15mm up front is perfect.
