Just wondering if anyone is running this hardware/ software, and how's the performance? Worth the risk of avoiding the manufacture warranty?!

I use a Racechip GTS Black in all 3 of my bmw including my BMW X5 40i with no problems.

I had the Dinan products installed by my dealer on our F30. They coverer everything if anything went wrong. I actually had a cable go bad from the box to the vehicle and my dealer replaced everything no questions asked. They claimed if it caused a warranty problem they would work things out with Dinan.

What kind of HP gains do you get with this Tune on a X5 xdrive 40i?
Also, about how much does this cost?

I personally would not. Not worth the risk of the warranty being voided. Thats just my 2c

It's about 50 hp and t. For $500.

I’m using the dinan tronics x and it Definitely works dealer doesn’t know it’s on there so you can actually take it off before you take it in for service. They’ll never know I leave mine on they never said a thing. Also, it definitely gives more horsepower. but I’m not one to go to the dealer to get general service oil change.are diy prefer better oil than dealers use .

How long have you had it installed? Any downsides? Did you install it yourself?

All was down shortly after my purchase easily installed 30 min did install myself I also bought there coil packs just have not installed them yet there a small improvement in the coil upgrades also
