Agreed. Those with plans to buy Lambo Urus will not consider Audi RSQ8 (a close cousin of Urus) or BMW X6M. In the parallel universe of lower prices and badge engineering, the same is true of Cadillac Escalade buyers ignoring Chevy Tahoe.

Personally, I prefer X5M over X6M for purely visual appearance reasons. Budget being no object, I would still choose X5M over Urus and do something wiser with $100K unexpected windfall.

I really struggle to get behind the refreshed look of the X5M. I still think the headlights and grille shape got less aggressive compared to the F85 X5M

Still undecided on the back end, rest of the car really looks great!

The tail lights are the only thing on the rear that looks decent, reminds me of the f13 tails

Anyway, Urus is not the competitor, the only real rival is Cayenne Turbo (Coupe).

I'm still undecided which one is better and which one I like more.

I'm taking the Urus every day of the week. And I love the X6M.

No it doesnt. Trackhawk is faster to 60 than the urus but slower in the 1/4 mile and I am not getting a 2.9 0-60 in my TrackHawk

I enjoy the guy's videos but I can't get over how he ripped off the old NBA on NBC theme

The car? Impressive numbers wrapped in an unappealing package. IMO of course

True but it's still an Audi Q7 underneath.

my ex wife bought brand new Q8 few months back (2020 model), its not RSQ8 (not even sure if they are available in US) but as much as I tried to like it I didn't. Knowing that URUS is pretty much Audi, I can't imagine myself spending 200k+ on it!

Now comparing F96 to Q8 is different story...

Would like to see some track numbers for X6M and compare them with Urus.
It might well be a better car, but people who buy a Lambo usually want a Lambo for the reasons you mentioned.
And the Urus is everything a Lambo is suppose to be??

Drove the X5M comp today and it is a nice suv much better ride than my last F85 X5M. Overall solid and fast but you really feel the weight since my DD is a M8 comp I get the engine without a 1000# of added weight. Going to run the numbers and it may be my winter car...

Noushy

Update it is now parked in our driveway... ///M #3 for the win

I believe so, but when you factor in cost and the ability to tune the X6M, well, the Urus should watch out. Nothing worse than getting beat by a cheaper car!
This um car is badass!

A looker? Maybe after 12 beers. I won't be buying any more BMW's with squeaky brakes anyway, but these front grilles make the decision that much easier.

Urus vs X6mc

I spent a day with the Urus and I bought the X6MC. X6mc is the best vehicle I've ever owned. I like the Urus but I don't want to pay for the Urus when I really want the mother of high performance SUVs...when I was in college in washington DC a Prince from Africa had one of these and would pick up his girlfriend at my apartment building in it. Since seeing that beast and hearing its growl I have always wanted one. In 1990 this thing was a real exotic..and still is. I just need to win the lottery..

It’s a SUV after all. Anyone want to take the family across country in a Urus?? This is why I buy a luxury/muscle SUV.
The idea would give me night sweats simply because reliability and dealer network availability. I am certainly not a price point buyer but you have to pick the right tool for the job. I’ did it twice now in complete and utter luxury in a sub 4 second SUV and slept like a baby at my resort.

I watched the entire posted above regarding the Cayenne Coupe Turbo and while I do really like the exterior and I’m sure it drives like a dream (as do virtually all Porsches), the interior fit and finish is so inferior to the new X6M its not even close.

I had a deposit down on an Urus and was ready when my wife said a bold NO! And it wasn't for the shitty $3200 a month lease. She hated the stigma and felt it was just ridiculous. Well honestly the X6M or X5M for half the money is a significantly better vehicle and value. Service included, more reliable, easier to repair. I still like the Urus but at this point it just doesn't make sense.
