Because when you hunt, you hunt for sustenance. You don't hunt your family pets that you have an emotional investment into, unless you're a sick person.

Hunting is for food. Natural food that grazes our earth in peace. Getting your food source from the way it was naturally intended. Earth.


Then again, we go out hunting for coyotes not for food, but because they disturb the livestock in the area that feeds all the local businesses.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a ranch and worked hard to find and kill this bull elk from a permit issued by the state because effective game management deemed the population of bulls to exceed the carrying capacity of the region.

Like I've said would have harder time doing it myself although my duck hash yesterday was the shit so could justify it.

Because I'm more the kind of guy that catch the fly in his house alive ..
And then he puts the fly alive outside .
I feel really bad when I see a rabbit lying dead along the road , because it was hit by a car..
Probably it's because I really realize that all of what we own is our life and I'm thinking/feeling the same for the animals...
