I hope this rep point will be a factor of local car meet vp or president. Then, I would be all over the thread.

While watching the movie, one of the well known member and I was PMing about kart and open wheel racecar build. I gave the member all the [limited] knowledge I have, and referred him to you for more details.

IF you have 9k rep pts, you are powerful enough to open your own BMW forums, and make it big. Maybe part time mod/admin here.

Here is a story about a guy who had no intention to open a forum , but he got really successful. There is one forum which I knew yrs ago. The forum owner let admin and mods took over. Those top admins/mods played favorites and some nepotism off of one military branch he was with. So, appointed mod/admin gave away admin/mod roles to those people.

One of the member who had IT skill got banned one day. He asked the mods/admin for 2nd chance, but declined.

He opened the new forum, and now it is FAR BIGGER than the forum he got banned on. Much more ads, more industrial partners, etc. The original forum was a great forum. In a way, it was sad to see all those original forum members migrating to the new forum.

ETA: those specific type of forums, i am ind partner or vendor member, so I try not to talk about any personal opinion and be neutral.

Actually, you'll be an awesome mod; it'll be great to see a mod actually engage and be part of the forum, rather than just [no offense] sit in a corner and only respond to flags and nothing else (PM/tag/etc.). For the almost 2 years I've been here, I've rarely seen a mod actually post anything (minus this thread of course).

On the other hand, for instance... With SolaraGuy.com, I'm friends with (or at the very least cool with) 3 mods... 2 I've met IRL; one at a car meet, another was actually a friend's buddy, and I didn't know he was a mod for an entire month until he saw my car and said "This car looks familiar... Are you nefarious_sle on SG?"
