BMW X5 sDrive40i - First time buyer

First time soon to be BMW owner, excited. I have been assigned prodDate of "2022-09-19", status of 150, VIN number and a prodNum. My dealer contact says I should get my vehicle by end of the month. How realistic is that? How long have you all seen from production to being ready with dealership.

That should be very doable as long as a truck is available. It should take 2-3 days after dispatch which normally is a day or two after production is completed.

Congratulations. Good luck, enjoy and be safe.

Congrats on the new ride. The other factor is whether or not your build gets held up in QC for whatever reason. A few recent buyers have been caught up from a couple of days to a week and a half or so. Most builds seem to go through smoothly though.

Our 45e started its build Friday and was out of QC Sunday morning. Currently awaiting carrier assignment, we're hoping to be able to pick it up this weekend. I'll post when it shows up if I don't forget!

Mine was dispatched from Factory today and Genius said its currently slotted for a Tuesday delivery. A bit longer than expected, but can't really comment on the state of the trucking industry atm.
