07/2019.59 Update

Anyone have this update yet?
Not able to get spotify up and bmw messages wont receive any notifications

Did you complete this update OTA or from the dealer? Are you UK based or somewhere else in the world?

I picked up my car a few days ago and update was done at the dealership

Hello it is a recall thing, you have to go to the service!
I had the following recalls worked on when I got upgraded to .55. You maybe referring to #1, but that looks different from the issue. Or, is there another recall on my issue?

1. Control units, rear view camera, SA B663319
2. Dual storage system, SA B611319
3. Software quality update, SA B651919 (to 07/2019.55)

I have already contacted the dealer and awaiting response.

Just picked up my 2020 x5 with .59 installed and can confirm the “bug” still exists. When I switch to drive the rear camera is still displayed. Let me know if you want me to do any specific tests.

Same issues for me on .59

Also don't have Alexa, isn't that supposed to be an app?

Since connected drive doesn't receive messages I can't add the car to my connected app since it's requiring me to enter a code sent to the car.

Called BMW from the car and they said that there is an issue with the ConnectedDrive servers and won't send messages. They recommended to try again tmrw (which is today), will tet shortly and report back.

It came with the 59 SW version

Yes exactly the same issue I have, they kept transferring me between bmw assist and the genius so I just gave up.
Its not a server issue, ive been having this issue for 2 weeks now

Ugh! That's not promising. Just spent another on the phone with BMW Assist getting them to change my email address because the dealer messed up and misspelled my email so I can't even link the car to my existing connectedDrive account

Is it fixed now after they put correct email?

For me after upgrading to 07/2019.55 I don't get the code to link up Connected Drive for my wife as secondary subscriber. I tried to reboot Drive, Deleting both profiles (mine and hers) but code still not coming to the car for her.

I was able to at least get mine working with the correct email. My wife has a separate connected drive account and just like you, the code to pair never makes it to the car for syncing. I have to call BMW Assist back for them to hopefully manually connect hers.

Thanks, I called BMW assist (1-800-493-4070) and they deleted wife existing account and created a new account as secondary subscriber to the car. problem solved!
