My speakers will showing the old colors even though they had been coded to different HEX. That means there must be another module somewhere that controls the speaker colors too. That's good and bad news ... the good news is, you can code your speakers to be any color you want. Bad news is, we have to find that module.
The 360D is the assignment area, but only includes two places for top ambient and lower/floor ambient. I am positive there is another folder that contains the assignment for i-drive to B&W. I just can't test since I don't have B&W.

I'll search the modules tonight and see if I can find anything

I might be crazy but I swear I changed just one of the hex codes and got only one "layer" changed. I tried it but reverted it because I didn't like how it looked. I'll test again when I have a moment, weekends are usually my coding time.

This post is amazing. Can anyone confirm if this process also with with the sky lounge / piano roof lights? I.e this can be turned red / to any colour?

Or is this the same issue as the B&W speakers.

The pano roof color will match the ambient light color. When coding the different colors I belive it will match the "upper" color but I'm not 100% certain.

Just looked through all the modules in Esys... couldn't find anything that would relate to the speaker color. Tried searching for the green HEX code "10 FE 32" but couldn't find that combo or any of the stock color HEX combos either. I'll admit I'm a novice when it comes to this, so I could just be looking at something incorrect.

BMW is still governed by law. The Moss-Magnuson act protects you from car companies frivolously voiding warranties. Unless you brick an ECU at home, then there is zero chance they would have any legal grounds to stand on. Don’t let your dealer bully you.

No I didn't. May look deeper this weekend when I have more free time.

Just checked the HU_MGU ECU and couldn't find anything that would relate to the speaker color. Did find a lot of "nicht_active" modules that would be cool to turn to active - especially concerning M drive modes. If I had the knowledge / confidence to mess with these, it would be cool to see what some would do.

I wish I could help on this part.

Just had an opportunity to play around with this. Decided to surprise my significant other with her favorite color, deep magenta!
Found the RGB Hex code online, and programmed away. Thank you for the great write up 130FD!

Of the two, one pic is combination of Cyan/Blue while other is Cyan/Cyan
CYAN : 00,FF,FF
BLUE : 00,00,FF

Thanks!

So your "Bronze" setting is Cyan/Cyan?

Your "Bronze and White" setting looks like a purplish color and blue... Granted I'm on an iPhone so the colors could be completely jacked up.
