I finally got part 61129834453 to retrofit the factory Tow Hitch
Let me start off I installed the Stealth Hitch tow hitch and trailer on my 2020 X5 M50i. I did not want to splice into my wiring harness so I left the provided wiring out. I got the factory wire harness and I'm trying to figure out which connector im missing. The rectangle 8 pin will plug into the pre-wired X5 but need ECU (which is the 3 grouped together in pic) for it and the larger circle connector is not a normal looking US spec 7 pin. I think i am missing part G05 X5, G07 X7 Trailer Coupling - BMW (61-13-6-840-334) which is called the POLLAK

Yes, but the Stealth harness does not integrate with the BMW system. it's merely a passive system that bypasses the BMW CanBus for the lights to work and no codes thrown.

If you want the vehicle to recognize when you plug in a trailer, you need the BMW interface. This will get you the additional camera views, auto switching of the rear PDC, and trailer stability logic. Aftermarket interfaces (with the exception of one from the UK which doesn't offer the US 7-pin plug option) only enable the trailer lights to work.
