Go with 20s.... or 22s. 21s are very hard to get tires for.

I would recommend adding rear seat heating. It's a cheap option, and well worth it, and it's one of the first things looked for during resale.

Yes, Carbon Fiber looks great with any color interior.
Did you mean 21's just don't have many tire options? That would definitely be true, but 21's aren't hard to get - just as easy as ordering any other tire online.

Agreed on heated rear seats & CF trim!

He can use the 20's as winter wheels and purchase 22's come spring. Considering his location he will need at a minimum an A/S and with 20's it will perform decently on those roads. Then when the budget permits go 22's for the summer. Get the car you want and then a new look just when the novelty starts wearing off. Best of both worlds.

I do realize this will never end, but if you can go over your $90k budget by $250 the Anthracite Alcantara Headliner is nice, I wish I could have gotten it on by 40i but its not an option.

You have pretty much the same as mine except I have the traditional blue caliber and no spare tire. Oh, mine is cognac instead of Coffee
I think you are gonna like it

Including destination charge this is now for $87595 and probably at the upper end of what I would want to spend.

Does carbon fiber trim go with coffee?
I have the carbon fiber trim with coffee on my build. It looks good to me in the 3D version of the configurator. Have you tried looking at that combo there? Use the scroll wheel on your mouse so you can zoom in to see it closer. Most of the dash/center console area is black so I think that combo will look sharp regardless of the interior color.

The merino leather is going to be softer than vernasca. Not sure if that will hold up as well to your car seats in the back. As the other poster mentioned, you will definitely want to buy some really good, thick seat protectors to protect the leather from the bottom of your car seats.
Do u have any pics of your carbon fiber with coffee? I haven't seen that combo yet but have it in order.

I would say parking assistance is a necessity. While I won't be using the auto parking features much, the surround view 3D view is nice, both in the car and through the app.

The drive recorder is also a nice feature. It is always recording and will save 20+ seconds of footage before/after a crash.

Although mine is black sapphire. Here is what the black interior merino leather with the carbon fiber trim looks like.

Without question Carbon trim and black leather are meant to go together. Question is really now would carbon trim go with coffee leather.

Have been playing around with different trims to go along with coffee merino. After many hours and taking inputs from my wife, decided on CF trim.

I struggled with that a while too on a coffee merino and went with fineline stripe brown. But that CF trim was very tempting.

I haven't seen any pics of this yet, but I pick mine up around November 10th with the Coffee / Carbon Fiber combo. Of course will share pics then. Fingers crossed...

We don't know the day nor the hour... my missus is a hospital doc and it's shocking how many people younger than those here pop their clogs before they get to do what they want to do in life. Load that sucker up and enjoy every minute of it! The very best of luck with it.

I think HK is a little weak... just to throw a curve ball into this... if you like your audio... B&W is the way forward. The Laser lights are essential, as others have said. The electric swivelling tow bar is very expensive to add after... if you ever envisage needing one, get it now.

I've air suspension on my M50d and I'd prefer if it had the M Suspension with roll control -or whatever they call it.

Passenger comfort VS. Driver enjoyment.
Tough choice.

I went with very similar option with yours, but with tanzanite blue with coffee vernasca. It is pretty hard to find tires for 21" and you definitely with summer and winter sets for 22". I just went with 20 for practicality.

CF and black is nice, but I went with coffee for contrast. I just wouldn't go for wood trim though it seems too glossy and will have scratches in the future..

Good luck with your purchase, mines built but because I'm overseas I'll probably get it in Dec or Jan..

We're getting our X5 for the same reason. Realized life is short. Better buy the car we've dreamed about since we were young now before we're too old to enjoy it.
