I decided to dive in, at the dealer now.

I hope it's going to be fine, my car was built in July and had the March software. It's been working well.

Dropped my 19 G05 at the dealer for the update. They said it would take all day, so they gave me a brand new X7 to drive!

My upgrade is complete, I waited on it. (Did not get an X7 offer )

I'd say it took about 2 and 1/2 hours.

I was on the March release, it now has 07/2019.53

Not sure what to look for, I was having a good experience before, in this very short time I did not see anything wonky.

Just got my X5 and it has the 07/2019.53 update. Will know more what if anything has changed after I drive it some more.
Got a brand new X3 2020 with 900 miles on it and I wasn’t impressed with the X3 at all. My X5 is in a class of its own. Love my X5!!!

Got the call that my car was done, so it was really only 3-4 hrs. They installed 07/2019.53, but no experience apps and still have my map in the center of the live cockpit.

Liked the X7, but it was too long and didn't fit in my garage 🤣.

Dealer says my car has 3 "recalls". They must not be safety related as I have received no notices from BMW. Appointment made for next week. Getting a loaner since he said it would take several hours. Fingers crossed.

Same here. i have 4k miles until my first oil service. Will have them complete the update if the feedback is good. Have had zero issues with iDrive, Carplay, etc.. My GO5 has been flawless to date. Really enjoying the luxury and it eats up the miles with ease.

I updated to the 07/2019.53 software today from 03/2019.44. I, too, can't really see any differences from the prior software but I may need more time. I already had caring car, etc. apps (but I don't use them anyway at the moment).

I just got 07/2019.53 yesterday. So far so good (its only been 2 days), fixed a lot of the issues on 07/2019/39.

I got the e-mail and even though I did have one OTA update (which I think must have been a mistake or a test on my car) and all of a sudden I caring car, climate rules and the other apps just showed up one day, I've scheduled an appointment for this update since my OTA is pretty old now and I'd like them to look at a minor paint defect. I figure it can't hurt, and if they break it, they'll fix it.

I had 3 recalls too. Also noticed I have the experience and car caring modes now. It might just be me but my X5 rides even better then it did if that’s even possible. Love it ha ha.
