My SA told me BMW says by the end of the year...but they didn't seem to confident in the answer. The crappy thing is I was hoping to see Drive Recorder and the Assisted Driving View features. On a first glance, it didn't seem so. There was another person in the other thread who had the update as well.

You guys should be posting and tracking iDrive updates here:

For awhile the G05 main forums felt like MacRumors iOS forums with all the iDrive version updates. It'll make it easier for the latest version discussion to be pinned at the top there versus weeding through the main forums where old versions get lost.
