Ditto - the only time they do not fold is if I lock the vehicle from the app. Otherwise they always fold.

I don't think so because my father currently has the 07.2019 software on it and it says that there is no update available for his vehicle ... I think the RSU will never exist that was a total failure of BMW and a big fraud

It will be interesting to see if/when BMW start releasing 11/2019.55 (later?) OTA.

I guess it depends on how well the 07/2019.75 OTA deployment went.

It's not a fraud as BMW HAVE released RSU to owners with 03/2019 and earlier i-step.

What I am unclear about is if you have an early release of a main branch release will the OTA update be applicable or just skip e.g car has 11/2019.34 and OTA version is 11/2019.55 - will it bother upgrading?

So my father has software version 07 / 2019.70. So you could expect that it will at least be updated to 11/2019 ... or don't I understand it?

The first OTA was n-1. So 07/2019.75 was deployed OTA while 11/2019 was available in dealers.

This allows them to real world test for deployment and functional issues before releasing remotely.

If all went well with the first OTA releases (07/2019), then you would expect BMW to soon release 11/2019 to your fathers car, now that 03/2020 has been released to dealers.

Is anyone else having trouble updating the app and services in the vehicle? I tried yesterday a few times and this morning. It keeps saying it failed and to try again later. Not sure if this might mean they’re updating the services available? Can I get a Driver Recorder for a 2019?!

EDIT: I was able to successfully update the apps and services...nothing...must've a BMW tease again

Happens randomly all the time. I've made coding changes thinking I've broken something in CD and it's just been BMW's unreliable cloud service.

No need to update apps to check if you can get Drive Recorder - just browse the CD store and it'll appear if/when BMW USA release it retrospectively.

Thank you. We only use one fob and one profile. My wife is the primary driver. I'm only allowed to use it at weekends😬🤪

I spoke to BMW UK connected drive team and the lady told me that drive recorder won’t ever be released to us - only if it was on the original build.

Just noticed the 03.2020.24 software seems to have removed the "vehicle off" option from the pull down menu and the "relationships" details from the general settings (unless this happened in 11.2019 as I skipped it).

I am not sure if I am a fan of the new upgrade. My CD stopped working and says "sent successfully" when nothing is received in my car. Also the TJA is less streamlined, i think. When i am in traffic and the flow of traffic speeds above 40mph, the red steering wheel sign on the dash goes off telling me to put my hands back on the wheel, even when my hands are on the wheel, and also disables the cruise control, so I basically have to reactivate it above 40mph. Prior to (had the 7/2019.53), if traffic flowed above 40mph, it would just disable the TJA but resume normal adaptive cruise control without me having to do anything.

Do you feel like it centers the car any better on its own with the lane assist with the new update? I've been underwhelmed with its ability to hold the center of the lane above 40.

I think that could be fixed in coding if you have the opportunity to do that?

For reference if anyone else has the same issue and cares to test:

SAS(42C1)\C_HOO_Vorhanden change from nr001_vorhanden_standby to nr002_vorhanden_noStandby

I think that my be able to be fixed in coding if you have the opportunity to do that?

I want to say that it feels improved, but it might just be in my head. Definitely bummed about the lack of seamless transition from TJA to the cruise control. Coding can help with that?

Maybe. I posted the codes above. I can't test as eTJA doesn't work in the UK.

It changed from nostandby with i-step 07/2019 to standby with i-step 11/2019 and later. I was wondering what that code changed but sounds like it was the transition behaviour.

C_HOO - is Hands Off Option, or eTJA

Did you manage to get CD working again? I had the same problem directly after delivery, not after the upgrade.

The CD helpdesk kan reactivate the app online without need for the code in the car. I wasn't getting any code either.
