0.9% financing from BMW Financial

Just happened upon this a few minutes ago, prior to 0.9%, it was 2.49% and 2.69 before that. BMW is on the move, maybe getting demand ready for cranking up the factory soon. This is on the USA build site. Last I knew, their % rate varied by location so be sure to plug in your zip code.

APR and credits valid through June 01, 2020.

Manufacturer cash appears to have significantly changed, though.

Just got an email from a dealer in the NYC area. Money factor for lease went down to .00118 from base .00142. I’m not sure about residual value. I executed my lease on March 13........ oh well.

Just checked and I have that offer in my zip code in Texas. I thought I was doing good to get the 2.49% when I bought my wife's special ordered X5 in mid March.

I should check with my financial institution if their re-financing rates dropped.

They reduced the APR but also dropped the loyalty from $1250 to $500.
Glad I got my M50i last month.

Wasn't that the April rate? So same rate for May?

Here, pasted part of the email from the dealer.

“As you may know, BMW had lowered the money factor substantially for the month of April. The good news is that the historically low money factor has been carried into May. We now are using a .00118 vs .00142 only a month earlier.“

When they dropped down to .00118 they also lowered to the residual value 1% which effectively cancels out the savings from the lower rate.

It is all a shell game for the uninformed. You have to be watching continuously to know when the real deals are available.

I checked and they now offer 0.9% APR in the DMV area too ... that's a real deal Seems they pushing people to finance more than leasing to move inventory permanently

A buddy of mine is discussing a lease deal for a 2020 x330 xDrive that’s in the lot right now. Money factor is .00118 and residual is 60%. Dealers are trying to push inventory out the door and my buddy asked for 12% off MSRP on the x330. Dealer is okay with it.

Not sure about the residual for G05/G06.

Audi is also offering 0% financing for most 2019 models in my area. I believe that the deals will only get better from this stage forward - at least until the end of the year.

I was looking into financing a 2020 x5 from one of the ny dealers. Found the car my wife and I both like and went ahead to talk about the price point. The SA offered us 3-4% which was disgusting so I counter-offered him with 16%. He replied back with how that's totally
Impossible for him and asked for a more realistic offer. Without hesitation I told
Him 14% off and he said he'll go talk to his manager about it and get back to me. I know realistically right now 10-12% is doable but 3-4.. come on man.

I wish they made it illegal for finance managers to tell people they qualified for the great rate of 1.99% so they can make commission without the buyer really knowing its 0.9%. These people deserve a special place is hell.

FYI 0.9% up to 60 months, and 1.9% for 72 months. Pretty decent rate.
