Spotify Integration with BMW Idrive 6 has always been sporadic and not all advertised features work. Per Spotify, starting with Spotify version 8.5.68.904, the iDrive integration functionality (the app) was removed. There was not warning that the App was being deprecated. At the moment, BMW even continues to advertise Spotify App integration.
Please vote at the link below for iDrive integration functionality to be reintergrated. We need at least 500 votes for Spotify to even consider the idea. If you know anyone else who uses Spotify, please also ask them to vote on the topic. https://community.spotify.com/t5/Liv.../idc-p/5013124 Can't believe Spotify removed this super useful feature for BMW drivers. BS.

Wasn't clear if this applies to iDrive 7? Android Auto has Spotify as one of its apps - does that mean it will be disabled in AA?
