I must have gotten super lucky with my dealers order slot and delivery truck assignment to North Carolina. I finalized my order August 26, got a production order on August 28th and the X6 arrived at the dealer September 10th. I'm not even in town to pick it up today as I did not expect it until the 19th at the soonest.

It sat in "Entering Production" status until the 8th, then suddenly was done and at "Waiting for Carrier Assignment" on the 9th before saying "At the Dealer" today.

Hope it looks like it is supposed to.

How long did it take for the dealer to get you a production number? I ordered and put my deposit on Sept 4 but haven't heard anything from the dealer since.

I ordered mine on Aug 29th and since then the status is the same

I got a production number emailed to me within a day or so of ordering, but as I mentioned, the dealer had a modifiable X6 slot in the system and they were able to put my specifics in its place. The original estimate was going to be six weeks before he saw that spot reserved.

Call the genius number and you'll get an estimated completion date which is the day assembly begins and often ends.

Yea this site lags by at least a week. Your car is probably finished production by now and in QC. Call the genius number and don't rely on this site for updates
