I have made several posts over the last few months looking for particular items such as "wheels", "spacers" etc.

On all occasions, I received PM's from (new) members saying things like

"Hey, I saw your post looking for ______. My buddy Frank has one and you can email him at #####@#####.com."

This first time, I exchanged a few emails until I realized the guy didn't know what he was talking about and was willing to sell the product at about 50% of market value.

Not sure what their up to other than stealing your money, but beware.
