Rant/thinking out loud:
My Josh is now 16 years old, he will be driving electric vehicles on auto pilot when he's my age for sure but until then I'm surprised he likes combustion engines as first choice, the raw power and feel can't be matched but his generation wants to conserve?!? I thought Me: Ordering another truck josh, what should we get? Hybrid 3.5l, 2.7l eco boost? Both sip gas or just keep the old tundra?!? His pick: 5.0l V8 2wd single cab short box (aka sport truck) more reliable and it sounds cool 😎 In short, I'm ordering the Ford coyote V8 in "Race Red" should be here spring time 2022 This kid loves old American muscle cars, sport trucks, 90's Japanese, bimmers of course and he's a fan of most electric, I asked him what type of girls he likes? Tall/petite? Athletic? Girly? tell me ? He said: 🤔 All, lol |

I didn’t realize the Coyote came in trucks, too. Just a RCSB F-150? Sounds like a modern day Lightning (except not today’s Lightning). Had a 2004 for a while and would love another. |

Yep, another few years likely not available anymore, like 6MT 2022 Ford lightning sport truck would've been lovely but buyers for that are in the few thousands not 30k+ Ford needs to justify Raised in the 90's but I honestly do not think I will like the new teck purposed on future cars, I feel weird if cruise control is on never mind autopilot and self parking I still look backwards parallel parking, full of screens and cameras on our vehicles but I feel better doing it manually |

Did your son get a Massachusetts drivers license or is he still using the one from Utah?

@upstatedoc
He had his Kansas Permit since 14 but on his 16th birthday he was finally allowed a Mass permit, our home base state requires online courses and behind the wheel time logged in by a pro teacher 50 hrs?!? Then he could get his junior operator license @ 16.5 years old Edit: lots of red tape but worth it he's already logged 500+ hrs since 2019… next summer to bmw teen school in SC |

Yeah used car prices are ridiculous right now, more so in the U.S. than in Canada. I think Bat and other online car auction sites have made it easy for people to bid stupid amounts of money after they had a few drinks from the comfort of their home .

This guy looks like he's about to tell me a story that I won't want to remember.
Also, he looks like Uncle Jesse (Dukes of Hazard) and Captain Spaulding had a baby. |

For his Junior Operator License the Commonwealth of Massachusetts wants your blood… because of his age (under 18) they require time logged in behind the wheel (not just by parents stating) but by recognized state driving instructors and classroom lessons (online now) the 250+ hours is what he ultimately got but 50 will do Kansas was by far the most loose, on his 14th birthday we flew in, ate BBQ then straight to the DMV, 20 min and $15 he was legit! |

@hubbahubba
He's into anything with wheels, from my bobcat front loader to scooters/go carts all I want is for him to learn good habits when he's driving and to have as much experience as possible before he's on the road alone how to learn proper driving? time behind the wheel and really good instructors https://teamoneil.com/ it's in NH, just north of us and BMW teen class @ SC then the training wheels are off |
