Gama, thanks for sharing...good that you noticed something was off before you got scammed. I have sold many things via Facebook and Forums and it's alway a hair raising experience. Wicked people are just waiting for an opportunity to strike, lets take that away from them by keeping each other informed.

I just want to throw this out there....

If you are selling something and someone says they are interested and to get a hold of THEM, it is a scam. 100% of the time. You shouldn't be the one chasing down someone who is interested in YOUR item.

This really sucks to see, I am new on here only been on the forum for a year now and every time I send money when I buy something I'm a little worried lol but i check to see history and how active the user is before sending money and luckily its been all good but I knew deep down inside there's def gotta be some scammers here lurking

I have been buying and selling car parts for many years on different car forums (GT-R, Porsche, VW and Porsche). I have never been ripped off or ripped anybody else off. If I have any doubts I have the seller make an eBay listing for me purchase from. I only use PayPal with buyer protection to buy and sell. No Zelle! I do not buy or sell from/to people who are not members of the forum in question. If the deal for the part seems too good to be true, the price is too low, pictures are not clear, the person has bad feedback just pass on it. Search the user name to find other forums they may be operating on and see what it there.
