X5 M50i. I got 8% before incentives and about 12% after incentives on a custom order.

I did not negotiate or shop around. No energy to do that at the current time. I made an offer and the dealer took it on the spot. The whole thing took 2 minutes. Just like I like it.

X5 pricing help

Hey all- first time BMW buyer.

About to pull the trigger on an X5 xDrive40i.

MSRP is $66,300. After all eligible discounts (military + BMW cash), first pass dealer discount is only around $1,900... 3% off.

Just a starting point, as I've contacted a few other dealers for price.

Are people still seeing 8-10% off (before other offers)?

Thanks in advance.

I got 10% off sticker before incentives from a dealer in PA. Had it delivered to Michigan last month. Pm me if you want the dealer contact.

Crazy all the pricing differences around the country. Best I could do was 8.7% off after discounts and incentives. I've done much better in the past from the same dealers, inventory is low and X5s are selling here.

Is that w/ incentives, or just the dealer contribution?

I ordered one last week. 5100 off msrp (72k). After that another 1500 rebate. The mil discount seemed a little difficult on the lease, they said they just " gave" me 1000 off to compensate. Was a little pissed I did not get base rate on the lease with close to 850 Fico.
St Louis area.

Hi, I live in NJ area, mind sharing which dealer you are talking about and the price will be 10% off MSRP before incentives for X5?

Yep, but the best MF rates - 0.00086!

Not sure about that. I locked in October '20 MF of .00082 when I ordered my X5. Also, RV for 36/10k was 55% so slightly better all the way around. I believe these figures held through the end of December if not mistaken.

You're correct back in Oct 0.00082. Forgot my own historic tracking of residuals and MF:

https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=27271387

I should have clarified to say, MF rate is still at a low.

Man, our dealer wouldn't budge at all on the price when we ordered. Just gave us $500 off for military. Their reasoning was that they were pulling allocations from other dealers, so they couldn't mark down the price.

There might need to be some renegotiation once our cars come in. Or is that frowned upon? We never signed anything, and only put a $1k deposit down for each of our orders.

The rv is both bmw planning for turn in and a purchase incentive. (Bmw knows they are subsiding some amount as the actual value of vehicles at turn in is almost always less than bmw rv.

So these low rates are no doubt driven by 2 factors....
1. Huge demand, x5 is in very high demand, super popular product, less need to incentivize
2. Semi conductor shortage, bmw is going to be selling vehicles for a period of time missing key options (hk or hud as exmaples), these will no doubt be worth less at the auction block when leases are turned in

Pretty good R&T article on the impact of the pandemic on auto sales. Seems like what we have seen with X5/X6 in particular. Could be a different landscape in 6-18 months.

March Program ?

Can the Lease and Loyalty credits be piggy-backed? Or is it one or the other?

Good article. It's interesting when a dealer's floor plan turns into an asset.

I am not sure where the dealers are not budging. Prior to ordering my X5 last month, I got plenty of dealers to discount above 8% off of MSRP.
