For Texas it seems like it is a good deal, but what finance rate are they are quoting for you?

Info available late next week.

Numbers aren't available exactly on first of each month as some programs can extend into the following month by 4 days or so.

Interior Cognac

The St. Louis area dealer was very aggressive and easy to deal with and basically gave me a very similar deal discount wise to what they did in November 2019.
All St. Louis dealers were equally aggressive with pricing.

The only additions to the order are winter mats and 20% tinting of the windows to match the rear window tint.

MRSP: $77,045.
Paid: $66,000.
Admin: $ 195.

With your suggestion, I went with a dealer in St. Louis and found that they were more aggressive than Chicago dealers. On top of that I will be paying the use tax rate of 7.25% rather than the Chicago sales tax around 9%. I also qualified for the PenFed Rebate so that I took the $3250 rebate and used their financing (Going to pay off the loan quickly anyways) to get the price that I wanted. Thanks for the suggestion.
MSRP: 71195
Paid: 60645 + TTL
Admin: $199

Is the 60K price out the door with all the taxes/fees? Thanks!

Missouri does not collect sales tax at the dealership for out of state purchases. When I register the car I will be paying 7.25% tax on the purchase price.

Like to share my experience

custom order a Sdrive40i back in end of October, picked up the car yesterday.

$71045 MSRP, 11.5% off MSRP, $500 OL code from drive for hunger event, $2250 incentives (I have no idea what they are), max money factor addup (0.00082+0.004 = 0.00122), also add the lease end protection. I was pushing for base money factor and they don't budge, so they did better on overall discount

Just to vent, I hate going into the F&I office, every time it takes forever, and we somewhat agree on the deal but they always manage to mess around with it. End up spending 3+ hours on a Sunday morning. Why can't they just be like Tesla and be in and out in ~30 mins...

Lessons learned, you really have to work hard to get the very last bit of few hundred dollars, there's really no free lunch...

Ugh. I hate this. I just keep telling then "no" no matter what they say. Extended warranty? No. And anything that shows up after the fact is an automatic no. Dealer installed tint? No. Door guards? No. Paint protectant? No.

That has mostly been my experience with nearly every dealer, but it was entirely different this time from BMW of Reading. Quick, painless. She already assumed I wasn't taking the extra stuff and only asked me quickly about the more important things, tire/rim and brakes. Told me I could take the brake maintenance plan at any time so no need to take it now, and I took the tire and rim. Reasonable price for the package I thought.

Am I correct when I say inventory of X5s on the lots is low?

Is there good reason to think inventory will improve over the next few months?

Looking at a March allocation. What % of MSRP should I be asking for on an order? Anyone ordered recently in CA?

Finally saved up for my dream car. I'm in DC Metro / DMV area. Looking at an in-stock 40i and negotiated down to about 9.5% off MSRP before the $2,500 finance rebate.

Is this a good deal or can I push more? Do I miss anything (e.g., any other incentive)?

Based on my experience, this seems reasonable. 9.5% is great considering that the dealers don't have a whole lot of X5s on their lots.

I am interested in hearing what others have to say. Consider asking the people on the Edmunds forum. I think there will be more responses there.

Make sure you get the base interest rate. Dealers like to markup the interest rate.

Also, do some research on the protection plans and reasonable prices for those plans:
Wheel & tire
Paint protection
Windshield
Additional service like brakes and wiper blades
Extended warranty
GAP Insurance

Some of that stuff can be purchased later. Your insurance company may be able to provide GAP if you want.
I suggest negotiating the extras and having that all squared away before you get to the finance guy.

You should finance the minimum ($7,500 or $15k depending on who you ask) so you can get an additional $2,500 APR credit. Pay it off after three months (only so the dealer doesn't get back charged).
