Anyone else super bored of the internet since COVID?

I have been "essential" since day 1 and eventhough many sites are blocked at work, I cant find anything that interests me.

What kind of workplace safe surfing entertains you guys?
(I just cant get into Youtube for more than 3 minutes)

Same. I started looking at watch forums again for the first time in years, and guess what? I bought a new expensive watch.

This place used to do it for me. We've lost activity from a lot of users here in the past year. Luckily my work load has increased and I no longer have to look for something to do to occupy myself. Now, BP is just for lunch time and whenever I have a lull in the day.

I loathe my timing sometimes. I joined this forum long ago, but grabbed my f82 recently as it just came up for sale and I was actively looking for a green individual f8x.... It has helped, but I was hoping I would get the package and get a busy forum as I don't social media (FB Twitter )

As "car guys" I did as car guys do, get a new to me one. Maybe y'all should try that? Even with a massive paycut due to covid I have found I can still mod this car to my liking.. I am sure modding/learning a new car would entertain most here.

I can see that being the case considering the amount of youngsters entering adulthood these days. The only real hope for the continuation of forums is having members that can communicate, spell, or use simple grammar skills. I've yet to meet anyone under age 20 that can do it effectively these days. By 2022, most communication will look like this.

IKR BRB IRDGAF IIRC.

.....shit.....nevermind.

Stocks and financial sites interest me. I’m not a day trader, but if I hear of a stock I like to research it pretty thoroughly and consider buy-and-hold. Much more engaging and rewarding than surfing or gaming.

Bringatrailer can be interesting and is always pumping through new auctions.

I don't even have the blocked sites and firewalls you do, but feel like I reached the end of the internet.

Finding interesting and intelligent content is like panning for gold during the pandemic. The first sign of Armageddon was when Yahoo stopped allowing comments then our Politics and Religion Section was sacked. I have spent my time learning about Video Production, more in-depth E92 DIY projects plus getting out running and getting more fit.

I'm in need of knee or hip surgery, I would love to be more active. Instead I gained 15 pounds since March. Very uncomfortable for me right now. Waiting for January to meet my deductible

I really miss the politics forum on here. I would argue with someone I dont know about something I really dont care about just because work was slow. 4:30 hit and I would log off and go home. Haha

Nope, not at all. The internet is the gift that keeps on giving. Youtube to be specific.

If you're bored at work, then instead of mindlessly browsing the internet, go outside and enjoy the outdoors.

Yes, I love going to YouTube and learning something new or just wasting time. So far, my favorite is the mobile mechanic in LA that did the E90 OPG on the street!

Ditto, I've created spreadsheets of good etfs, drip calculator and many watchlists. I sold all my mutual funds and invested in etfs and might dable in some trading
