I just got my new 2024 G05 this past Thursday. I am coming from my past BMW X3 m40i. Now when I would start to go up my driveway, my parking cameras would automatically go on as I was entering the garage. This would also happen as soon as I was pulling into my parking spot at work.

What setting do I not have correctly set because my new X5 does not do this until the last second or I'm already parked? I tried to find GPS activation spots, but I don't see that as an option when I'm driving/stopped. Thanks in advance to anyone that has helpful tips!

Hit the button on the console for the cameras, when they're up you'll see the option you want on the right of the screen to create an activation point.

I finally figured it out. You have to make sure the center button is on like you said, but you need to make sure it's on panorama view instead of parking view to see the option of an activation point. I finally set one to my house!

Mine opens to panorama when you hit the button; yours does not?

Correct. When I am in panorama mode - it gives me the opportunity to record paths and nothing else.
