Not really bs… it's kinda true. Dealer by me does this with Dinan among a few others. My understanding is that in order for the ECU to be warranteed you have to take it back to the specific dealer that warranted it.
So kinda it's really bs.

Hahaha.

Guess you missed/ignored his last line.

Is your tune a Dinan tune? I'm assuming not because you said ECU tune.. which would lead one to believe it's not. Dinan does piggybacks.

It's complete bullshit, hopefully your buyer is reading this thread.

Dinan USED to be "covered" by BMW (In USA). In reality the BMW service department & Dinan would speak and depending on what part failed they may or may not back charge Dinan so the end user wouldn't really see that.

They were the only "approved" BMW (USA) tuner.

In todays world you purchase the matching warranty through Dinan directly.

If you have a one-off agreement with your dealer you need to be specific with that otherwise you're lying in your ad.

I cannot stress this enough THERE ARE NOT ANY DEALER APPROVED TUNES.

Before you try and even think about replying.. do everyone a favor and post your paperwork that shows that it's specifically approved.

Don't worry it should be easily available for you and I'm sure you have no hesitation in providing everyone the proof to back up your statement.

So…

No proof to backup your statement. Seems like you're one of those people that think they can just say whatever they want and not have any proof/facts to back it up.

Got it.

Thanks for your admission that you're full of BS.

Buyer beware… seller is misrepresenting his vehicle.

It's up for sale. No potential buyers yet.

Dealer said they will sell it for $66-68K so I might as well make that lol

I just recently picked up a 19 X5 x50i
for a few grand more than you are selling without exec package and stuff, now I wish I saw your listing prior to a dealership visit lol
Though mine came with less than 10K miles on it, so I dont feel too terrible lol
