*cold start* cts catless downpipe + m performance exhaust

Hope this helps someone looking into this set up. I installed the exhaust 3 days ago.

Small pull, nothing serious in a residential area

It sounds awesome..congrats. A few questions - and don't worry if you don't answer them all...
1. How many miles on your car before you did the mod?
2. Who installed (Dealer, Independent,you)?
3. Total price?

Thanks! Did exhaust tunes on my previous 540 (Dinan) and Audi S4 (AWE) - and got nothing but great compliments from them.

Car had 100 miles when I installed the catless dp and 400 miles for exhaust.

Local shop did the install for $150.

Catless downpipe from cts was around $300 and the m performance exhaust was $2,800. The car is also tuned with jb4 and an intake.

Burger motorsports, their b58 intake will fit just need a bit of modification. I believe, the sensor slot is bit too narrow so you just need to drill it out some. Other than that, the intake fits perfect. I installed the intake so it wasn't too complicated.

I see you're in CA, and when I looked at the JB4 site, they say they won't sell them here. Do you mind if I ask how you got it? I'm interested in it too.

Here's the link for the B58 (x5 40i). They're based out of Las Vegas so they can ship to Cali. Be sure to grab the Bluetooth kit.

It's the m performance exhaust, not sport, 2nd valve is open through the JB4 app. You can either open all the time, close all the time, or OEM operation.

It does throw a CEL, but I'm running their 90 degree spacer and it's been pretty good so far. When I get a light, I delete it using the jb4 app.

Spacers don't work on these cars anymore because the O2 sensors are extremely sensitive in my experience, Spacers works on high catted DP but few people even complaints that on high rpms even they get the CEL code . The permanent solution is MIL delete kit, that's what i installed in my car and i have catless DP no CEL code since i installed it.
