Carbon Fiber Badges and Black Grille - First Mods

The blue BMW roundels and chrome grille just weren’t my taste.

Looks great! What is the process to change the roundels?

There are several videos on YouTube. A microfiber cloth and a non-marring body tool with a little WD40 will be all you need.

The steering wheel one goes on top of the existing blue one. It is a nice fit so I am not able to tell is there. It is CF with an adhesive - not a sticker.

They say these will not yellow, but I suppose only time will prove the truth. It was worth the risk to me.

Me too. I ordered a set. I asked because samvora profile says 2009 BMW. I would be less upset with yellowing after 6+ years, easy swap.

The only issues that i had with the JB speed roundel is that the bmw emblem separated from the plastic backing. I ordered the black painted ones, and i ended up having to get replacement roundels from them. The adhesive used is originally is garbage so if i were you i'd take them off and use a good emblem adhesive.

Something like a 3M tape or like an actual adhesive?

3m tape would be too bulky. I would use a gel/liquid adhesive spread thinly over the adhesive side of the emblem. Let it cure for 24 hours and your good to go.
