I actually had a better offer (5%), but purely based on gut feel and responsiveness I went with the lower offer ... and I'm really glad I did because my bay area dealer has turned out to be fantastic! Great proactive overcommunicator & super responsive to every question & request 18 hours/day. He's totally worth the 2%! Also I fully expected them to change the deal but, so far, they're not. |

victor @ Peter Pan ... and I gotta say, THE BEST dealership experience I"ve had in 20 years (and I've worked with a lot of BMW bay area dealers). Respectful, polite, pro-active over-communicators. I'd email victor at 10pm and he'd reply 15 min later. He also has zero problems with PenFed, and is willing to follow all of my delivery requests to the letter. Great guy, treats you like you're his top customer.

(1.) Contact a broker like Next Level Auto Brokers and see what they know. (2.) Find a dealer/broker who's willing to run an allocation search for you & a nation wide dealer inventory search. (3.) Use BMW's new vehicle web site to configure search rings (<50 miles, <100 miles, <200 miles, etc) and see if you can find one on a lot ... you can pick a city, then do a search ring around it - not easy, might take some work, but could work You're looking for a needle in a toothpick factory |

Lol at the picture above.
When I was shopping for my X6 I sent emails out with my build in it. I got a response back from BMW south Atlanta offering to sell me a used 2020 X6 with 20k miles for $3000 more than my 2022 build MSRP. |

FWIW, those who may be using BMW Corp Sales Program for discounts via your company perks programs, I picked up my X5 yesterday and got an additional discount of 250 off for a total of 1k off MSRP (originally 750 when I ordered). I was going to ask if there was any adjustments to it but he told me before I got a chance to…. I was pleasantly surprised my SA told me about the additional $$$ off. With the current situation, I only anticipated an increase and not decrease in what I already knew I had to pay….

Wow I feel super privileged for the deal that I got on my 2022 X6 in October. I’m even more shocked that another bmw dealer gave us $19k for a 2016 x5 s drive with 115k miles and a dent on the door.

problem we have is impulsive people who are bad at personal finances....or so many rich people that don't care. seems like they are back at MSRP now in NJ. but.. dealer also tells me idiots leasing 3 series for 600-800 a month. So the x5 is now 1000+ a month. |

In the NJ/NY area I’ve seen brokers advertise about 4% off MSRP for regular X5, the best I’ve seen on the 45e is 2% off, I’ve seen about 3% off on the m50.
I know a dealer on the west coast that has 45e allocation at MSRP. If anyone is interested PM me. |

Just found out about a 6% off sale on a fully loaded X5 m50 in SoCal, plus there’s 1K OL for the year of the tiger. Original MSRP is a bit too high for me 98.9K but if anyone is interested send me a pm and I can connect you with the SA. Dravit grey on black.

My dealership has been trying to sell 15k over msrp on just about all models. I managed to get msrp due to being a purchaser of 5 bmws and 2 friends vehicles I negotiated for them. I felt lucky. All of this including the chip shortage is a lot of manufactured BS.

if they bring that up again, tell them its a heap of bs. I enquired almost all east coast dealers before placing my order end of december, and only one dealer came back with a 2500 over msrp idea. The rest were boasting about their niceness selling at MSRP. Ultimately managed to get a not-s-bad discount at a dealer within DMV. and this is going to be my first BMW.

With so much business you should be naming your own price. I have zero interest in paying MSRP.

I am seeing MSRP here but one dealer is throwing on a $2500 required "protection package". I get why this is happening, local dealers cannot keep the X5 or X3 in stock and they normally have around 40 each.
Trying to get a M50 but I just can't do MSRP. Would like to get at least 3% off plus my card club rebate. |
