Time has come to put my like-new 2021 BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport with 9,700 miles I bought this car in October of last year, with the hope to use it until the new M3/M4 cars arrive or sell it in a year as per my habit, I do not keep my cars for long The delivery center trip was featured on BimmerPost front page. Here's a link to check it out. https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1767617 The car is in perfect condition as I keep my cars cleans, no food, no drink, no smoking of course I sold many cars here before and buyers can attest how clean my cars are. Most of the miles are from the delivery center trip and couple of trips to the NY/NJ area. Other than that, the car is a garage queen. So, all miles are highway miles. Now to the important stuff Vehicle Specs: The car has the following packages/options: Mineral While $550 Tacora Red Leather M Sprot Package $4,500 Parking Assitance Package $800 Premium Package $7,750 M Sport Brakes with Red C. $650 Spare tire $150 Heated Front and Rear Seats $350 Heated Arm rest and Steering Wheel $250 Extended Shadowline trim $300 Harman Kardon/Panoramic Moonroof/Drive recorder and more Here are few pictures of the car exterior (Sorry about the sun in the way) The interior is very clean Tires are in excellent shape The engine bay cannot look any better Additional pictures are here Car is priced well with market. I already have an offer from VRoom to sell it above the KBB Trade-In value, but wanted to see if another BimmerPost friend is interested in it. The car looks new inside out. Please note the pictures are cell phone pictures that are not edited or enhanced All routine services performed at the local BMW dealer (all records available). Car has no mods and was never tracked or abused. The car is financed through BMWFS Shipping can be arranged if buyer willing to pay for Best wishes Last edited by psuibmw; 01-28-2022 at 08:22 PM.. |

The asking price is mid way as indicated by the attached KBB estimate. In fact I run the estimate again and the average private seller price is now higher than the time I posted it few weeks back. I'm trying to get into an M4 and my dealer is asking markup for the car, so the net is the same. In fact, I wish we can soon go back to a stable market where you can get 10% off a new M car One final point, this car has some of the options you cannot get nowadays even on a brand new one due to supply chain issues. |

I ran an appraisal at work with the info you have in the post. We are willing to take the car from you and give you a $10k equity check. In case no one takes it, keep us as your worst-case scenario. GLWS

@djrabbi Daviddege11 Thank you both for chiming in 🙏 So the offer this guy is talking about is almost 20% off of my asking price how disgraceful! I already have an offer from a local dealer for KBB pricing. So, I'm not desperate at all
I'm just amazed how some stealership still think people are stupid even nowadays when information is available everywhere! Also, you would expect anyone here in this platform to have some sort of knowledge about BMW, not your average granma who doesn't know the difference between a Ford and a Yugo : I have owned over 20 BMWs and many of them I've sold right here, with all happy buyers basically all my cars are sold like new. Luckily for me, my local dealer still have some sort of honesty compared to others. I'm hoping one day we will all buy our BMWs online |

I agree. I had my 5 series lease and I originally got it almost 20% off at signing. Dealer gave me 2k below MSRP which I netted $10k
Same dealer offered me $10k more than what I bought my x5 at but I declined since I won't be able to find a similar vehicle ever again |

I appreciate the hustle, but you need to know your audience. You have time. Wait for the m4 to be ready and see what happens. Things aren't getting better anytime soon. Good luck! |

I would ask the dealer who you ordered the M4 from to match Vroom/Carvana offers and trade it in. This will yield the most savings and least headaches. I did that when I traded in the X5 a few months back, also in Maryland. In addition, don't feel bad to ask for more than what KBB/vroom quoted you from dealer you traded in to. The dealer I traded into matched KBB/vroom online price right away but I bugged them a few minutes and they raised additional $3.5k. They sold my trade in within a week.
When will your new M4 arrive? You may continue to hold on to the X6 until it arrives as I don't think used car price will come down anytime soon. GLWS
