My dad had a '55 Pontiac during that time like the car on the left on your photo.

Here I am with my older brother and sister. No comment on the jacket or the short pants!

What year was that photo taken? 1955? If so that is the year I was born.

I recently started buy the crystal balls that Swarovski started offing.
Nice. The display tree wasn't $6k, that's the value of the collection. I did see a completed eBay sale of the 1991 ornament of just shy of $5k! Looks like the average for it this year is just under $3k.

Yes, Mom was taking the picture. Here's one of her with the only Ford in the family. My Dad was a GM guy all the way.

Edit: My Mom passed away a few years ago. If she knew I'd posted this photo she would have swatted me into next week! Why? That missing chrome strip on the driver door embarrassed her to no end. I'm really surprised she took this photo with it missing. Dad was on active duty in the service so he wasn't home to get it fixed. She liked everything buttoned up and in its place. Thanks Mom!

You know it's a Ford, it already lost the side moulding on the door.

I was a GM guy all the way too before I could join the BMW crowd. Drove a 66 Chevelle with a 3 spd on the column, with a replacement 307 V8 for a full year while in college. It was great transportation when I had no money and it had a full front and rear seat. Yes....
