X5 45e stage 2 tuning experience?

I saw this movie and was wondering if anyone did a stage 2 tuning on his X5 45e?

Nope,
Only stage 1 with airfilter from KN

Gave me 530hk and 820NM I don't want to change the cat and exhaust. That certainly voids the warranty.

This ones I can do a rollback on 😎

Is there a big difference before and after tuning?

I have stage 1 with down pipes and exhaust on mine. Stage 2 requires a bit more modification as turbo pressure increases from 1.3 bar to 1.6 bar.

I have dyno results at 556whp / 783nm.
Stage 2 will give additional 50-60hp.

I've wondered what a stock 45e has in the way of turbo boost? Is 1.3BAR? That seems high (I come with a longstanding thought that 12-15PSI is acceptable for LT reliability - below is better and Higher is riskier LT) considering the 45e has been detuned from the 40i given the extra E power.....I can't find good info on the details here for stock turbo boost?

Which tune do you have? Interested to hear the setup and if there are any places people are discussing tuning options on the 45e.

Tried google searching with old posts.

Custom DME tune with down pipes and custom exhaust.

I am doing what I always do .. JB4 ! That 4psi over stock always does the trick for me and super easy to install and take off when service is calling.

Given that it's the B58 if I recall on the X3M40i it was boosting up in the mid 20's. Stock it is around 17-19psi.

You guys with the Stage 1: was there any impact in the seamlessness of transition from battery to motor? Is it any more interruptive than stock? Sound more intrusive? Not a bad thing, just interested in knowing what changes other than the power itself thx

Can we create short list of validated tuners for xdrive45e?
I read from above:
DME (custom)
Who else?
Would be interested to have thermal camera reading of engine, intercoolers and exhaust side after and before tune post dyno run...

DME is like ECU tune its not a tuner.

This is my plan as well with a good filter. What is your output after that?
