Full M Performance Kit is now complete
Just had the final piece of the M Performance kit installed on my G05 M50d.
I have: The carbon front intakes, Black grilles (surround, still have the cerium grey inserts) Front and real carbon winglets Sill decals, Carbon diffuser Spoiler (the newest addition as it only just became available in my area. Thoughts. I don't think it looks overly modified, it all looks stock and fits well (winglets look slightly delicate and are difficult to wash behind) The car is mineral white to the black/carbon is a nice offset. The side decals are subtle and help the car look more athletic by helping it hide some mass I think. Difficult to describe but easier to see. The diffuser makes the biggest visual difference in my opinion. It helps the rear look purposeful and powerful. The standard rear bumper with the three lumps in body colour does nothing for me at all. I'm happy to post pictures but that'll be later/tomorrow as it's currently lashing rain and I'm very happy to discuss it or answer any questions. One quick picture taken just as it arrived home before the rain started of the rear spoiler below. |

I'd say gloss black makes sense for the grille & side vents, but the rest of the stuff (carbon for an SUV? decals?) not something I'd pay for but it's all subjective! |

Do you have a part number for the spoiler, I can get some different pictures that way.
I've ordered the diffuser from Bowker BMW via eBay - a damn sight less than the £945 RRP! |

now, the rear flow-through spoiler pictured on this thread is the M performance spoiler which doesn't require removal of the original spoiler; this lays on top of it. but if you're talking about the X5M rear spoiler retrofit which does require removal of the original spoiler, refer to this thread for tips: Bmw X5M Rear roof spoiler https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1780927 |

I just got my 2022 M50i and I was thinking of replacing the cerium grey grille with the OEM gloss black one. Can I see a pic of how yours looks with the existing cerium grey inserts?
Thanks a bunch! |

The factory body color edge piece actually does need to be popped out and replaced by the rear CF winglet.

Quite difficult to see the grey inner strips but hopefully you can get an idea of how they look.
