Just placed an order for a 2022 X5m with comp, exec and driving packages. Donington gray with black interior and black calipers. Dealer doesn't currently have an allocation so it will probably be 3-4 months. Got 2% off MSRP

The wait begins!

I talked to Maria, in the BMW individual part of BMW. They are not offering until Jan 2022

Congrats! DG is a great color! Mine is in 150 now with an eta of next Friday. The wait is always the worst part! Who knows maybe they get lucky with a magic allocation; but worse case you have a sick car coming!

Forgot to mention that I just sold the Model X and picked up a used 2021 Audi SQ8 while I wait.

but why you did not wait for the update? according to my dealer you can order from mid march the "new" x5m with light update, in particular the new interior (from iX)

My buddy is a dealer so I have been doing some buying and selling through his license. Made a few grand on the Model X, should make about 5k on the SQ8. Only have them for a few months.

Found out my car will be here mid December. Don't like to wait.
