DIY 5$ X5 G05 Side reflector delete

I wanted to share with you a cheap cosmetic modification I just did to hide the horrible orange side marker / reflectors

1 - I bought from AliExpress a black tint film wrap sticker

2 - Clean the reflector with some rubbing alcohol to improve the sticking of the film

3 - Cut a 3 x 12 inches film

4 - Remove the back of the film to expose the sticky part

5 - Apply the sticker on the reflector

6 - Remove the protective layer on the sticker

7 - Press the sticker on the reflector to expose the contour of the reflector

8 - Cut carefully with a blade the film around the reflector and
remove the excess around

I've done this. If you use a heat gun first (a blow dryer will probably work too) the film will start to wrap around the reflector too.

I didn't know that, but to wrap it around the reflector must be removed, no?

No, it will kind of just melt around it so you don't see edges.
