Trailer hitch question

Car arrived at dealer and on sales hold for the touchscreen. Not happy about that but CA sent pics today. I was lucky enough to get the tow hitch installed but have no idea what this hole is in the bumper. Only thought is a tow strap compartment missing the cover. Thoughts?

Make sure that they fit the Kick to Open antenna if they have removed it.
But yes that's a tow hook it's just a painted plug that sits in the bumper

As brettnosse noted it's the tow hook cover and it's bi-colored = body color + grey M sport trim color (highlighted on my vehicle)

Not sure about the factory hitch but they do not remove the antenna or wiring the harness disables it. You don't want kick to open and a hitch.

The cover is missing b/c for some reason they needed to use the tow hook.

Not sure how it arrived. Possibly a flatbed and they needed it to let the car down.

I presume there is a sensor of some sort to prevent door from opening when something is attached?

No there isn't, which is why they disable kick to open w/the trailer hitch.

I was thinking of installing a switch to let me by pass it but it's just not worth the trouble.
