I just called BMW, they're saying Week 52, ugh. Dealer said the prod slot for was last week of november, so will call him too.

Does it mean production completes that week or does it start that week?

I understood it as production should be completed whichever week was quoted. Another thing to consider, I heard the factory was closed week 52.

The week of Dec 26th should be Week 1.

Picked up our new X5 45e today. Was ordered mid-October and build date WK43. It got hit by the no touchscreen bug. Seriously went back and forth on whether to take or reject. Hope I made the right decision and holding out some faint hope that BMW will decide to make things right and retrofit these cars (I know they say they will not). Its an absolutely beautiful car, I know some think it shouldn't matter, but not having the touch screen takes smoothness of the interface and the edge off the wow factor for the car (especially Apple car play). What bothers me, is if the touch screens are really back with just a 2 week gap, I would have happily had my build delayed to get the screen.

My order and build/production was similar timeframe but surprisingly had touchscreen. I'm not sure how they determine which gets touchscreen or not.

Mine went into production today , no deletions, no 06UY code. Comparing list of options today vs when it was scheduled for production , they added 09AA . I am not sure what that is , maybe something called "Transport protection"
