Hi everyone

It seems like G05 is notorious with tint and almost impossible to have trash dust free tint.

Tried So many times and no luck…

I know BMW has felt but with door panel removed and felt all covered, dust is always there. Of course it's impossible to have 100 percent perfect…

How many trash dust do you have in your tint? Does it bother you? What are you planning to do??
What is your acceptable tint job would be?

Just had my fronts done with FormulaOne Stratos 15 and it’s not perfect just like every other tint job I’ve had done. So long as the amount of trash in the center of the glass is minimal and there are no obvious bubbles anywhere I let it slide since having the shop redo it takes time and no guarantees it won’t turn out worse.

Yeah I installed stratos and it is just nightmare….

They are apparently having issue with new batch of film that just cause problem after problem…

I gave up on stratos for now..

My freshly applied Stratos is dry now and it has crap in the center of the passenger side glass so back it goes.

Well problem with stratos is, glue between layers have been substituted and gets delaminated… it looked like hazy mark when bright sunlight hit.

Hazy mark sometimes appear and usually go away very quick but not this time….
I waited three month and still wouldn't go away

Sorry about that. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for the haze. Have you gone back to the tint shop to have another go? I plan to make arrangements next week around the ceramic coating and windshield replacement (this will make 5 in 2.5 years).

Maybe you could get it replaced under warranty with Pinnacle?

Already replaced to pinnacle… but after repeating so many times, it's not worth doing

I'm one for one on tint jobs. Had my g05 tinted down to 5% all the way around and it is perfection.
