Question about BMW official Winter tire and wheel packages

Does the official BMW winter wheel and tire package, sold at our dealers, include TPMS already inside of the mounted and balanced set or do I need to tell my SA to also order a set of TPMS and have them installed?

Yes, based on my past experience buying a package, but I can't find any proof on the website (strange).

Edubya,

What tires came with your 740M set? It doesn't say on the website what tires is comes with (https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/8...0M,-ORBIT-GREY)

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure all winter sets bought threw the bmw website come with Michelin Alpin 5 SUV RF. Or atleast mine did. I mounted mine the other day and had no issues beside some air levels being a little low.. and everyone asking me where my 22s went

Any chance you've found comparisons vs the non-RF version? I wanna buy those from tire rack but RF is tempting not because it's RF but because it's BMW spec

Honestly they ride ok. I honestly think the 22s ride smoother but the peace of mind of the bigger tires is nice in the winter with all the pot holes and such. I would say they are a 6.5/10 on ride quality

Haven't found any comparisons though

FWIW, the shop.bmwusa.com 21s I'm getting aren't RF:

Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV 295/35R21 107V

I just put on the regular non-RF Michelin Alpin 5 275/45R20 with Porsche spec. About 300 miles on them so far and very happy with the ride.
