X5 40i-45e option shortages???

I am looking at the X5 Hybrid and a couple of things came to mind when I was looking at it.

1. Can the car be debadged from the factory (I don't like the blue iPerformance logos or badging, I'd prefer the car to look more "normal" haha)

2. I noticed when I visited the dealer, they had a 40i that did not have backup assistant and touchscreen, I was told they are back after reading some forums? I also am wondering if Harman Kardon Sound is back? HK Sound is a big kicker for me as I want surround sound since my previous car had surround sound.

Thank you in advance!

No, you would have to have it debadged. I think in Europe they offer it though.

HK is not back yet. Touchscreen is back for now but that could change.

Noted. Do you by chance know when HK sound will return?

iperformance logo is not blue. It's a black badge. Personally, I like the iperformance badge. I also like the blue i halos on the roundels. They're a nice touch. The ///M kickplate is a little overboard tho as it's not a real M car.

It's super easy to debadge, just youtube it...you can use dental floss.

i feel they should differentiate between M Performance (M Sport) and ///M badges. all I really see is that M Performance/Sport are smaller with different placement but that's it. I'm not talking about the leather offerings, interior trims, engine component differences, etc, just the badges.

it affords too many opportunities for the "posers."

debadging is super easy. just wish it were an option when ordering like they have in EU. BTW, the light blue is only on the roundels, not the "performance by i" badges.
