BMW CCA Discount
Doing a PCD delivery on 11/12.... signing paperwork a few days prior to that. When do I need to sign up for BMW CCA?
Any other advice? Thanks! |

Just go to the BMW CCA website:
https://www.bmwcca.org/ Sign up for membership, and make sure you choose the 3 year membership (this makes you instantly eligible for the rebate). Once you've signed up, just submit the rebate online. It's a pretty simple process.

They usually give a 15 day grace period but to make certain all goes well, become a member prior to signing the paperwork for the vehicle.

For this section:
"Have you purchased a three year membership no later than 15 days after your vehicle Purchase/lease?" I placed an custom order 4 weeks ago but haven't gotten the car, am I still eligible to apply for the rebate? Thanks. |

Your dealer will call you in close to when the car will be ready if doing PCD or when your car arrives at the dealer. At that time, become a member of BMWCCA with 3 year membership and apply for your CCA rebate. That's what I plan on doing.

BMW CCA
I became a CCA member a couple years ago when I got our 2016 228i convertible. While I'm not a motorsport enthusiast I have enjoyed the club's monthly magazine that comes with the subscription, the Roundel.

I applied for mine at the beginning of August and it was approved by the club a couple of weeks later. I still haven't received the check yet though. The application is waiting for BMWNA to approve it.

Minor changes to the CCA membership Rewards
Thread may be cold by now, but thought it prudent to mention an update received yesterday:
"The most significant update is the addition of a six-month waiting period. Individuals who purchase a three-year or longer membership after December 31, 2019, will be required to wait six months before taking delivery of a new BMW and applying for the rebate. However, everyone that purchases a three-year membership by December 31, 2019, will be grandfathered in under the current terms and will not have to wait six months. This new change will only affect memberships purchased after December 31, 2019. "

If the vehicle is a business expense and titled to an LLC can you qualify for the rebate?
"Vehicles must be purchased/leased via an authorized U.S. BMW center, sales documents and vehicle title must be in eligible member’s name" . |

No. The car has to be titled to the same person as the BMW CCA account holder.
