Spare Tire Option
Does this option include a jack and tools to mount the spare?

That makes no sense. Glad I have a jack from a previous BMW.

Just ignore his answer, it includes everything you need.

For a $150? That's not what I was told. Tire alone is $200 or more on the outside. I thought the jack and stuff was an optional item at 127.95.

Right, IF you have the 1PA option - 22" tires:
1PA 22" M Double-spoke bi-color wheels, style 742M w/ performance non run-flat tires + $1,900 + $1,900 (22x9.5, 275/35 R22 front and 22x10.5, 315/30 R22 rear) 300 Space-saver spare $150 In combination with 1PA NC NC 300 cannot be ordered with 4UB To think they'd "give away" a tool kit AND a tire for $150 is ludicrous. |

Again, was given bad info. Consider yourself lucky and smart for taking this option. I was told "no" on adding it even though my build was in the very early stages of "Scheduled for Production" for weeks. Really pisses me off now cause I wanted that option.

This $150 option is a real bargain. I am very glad I ordered it. Runflats can save most of the time but a catastrophic failure can strand you without a spare.

So, I don't know 100% about the kit you linked, but I asked my CA about adding the spare tire post purchase and he said the G05 kit was not released yet. He did say that it typically runs about $300. |

My 2019 X5 (19inch wheels) has the space saver spare tire and luggage compartment package.
-The spare includes the jack and wrench -The spare fits in the space below the floor without modification. The spare was $150 option. |

I don't know about you guys but I removed my spare tire and keep it out unless I'm going on a long road trip. I prefer to not have the additional weight back there when it's not needed

nice try but I plan on keeping the tire, I simply don't need to have it in my account to drive around town daily

Glad you took a picture of yours because I just looked at mine and I'm missing the wrench. I just picked up mine on Saturday.

The $150 price is only valid that the time when you order the X5, adding it after unfortunately is pretty darn expensive. We get the spare & tire from BMW and its around $600.. (and that does not include any jacks etc.)
