Will The 40i Eventually Get An MPPK/MPE?

Any rumors on whether BMW will release an M Performance Power Kit (MPPK) and M Performance Exhaust (MPE) for the 40i here in the States?

MPE, probably.

Why on earth wouldn't they have put the B58D in the G05's - now maintaining between 2 and 4 SKU's for the same range powerplant? That's not good business sense for a manufacturer so worried about unit v. unit profitability and bottom line financials.

Do not bother with the exhaust...it's not what you imagine and that makes me very sad!!

at this point i wish akrapovic would make one. I would gladly install that one.

Agreed - I had an M850i last weekend and the exhaust on that was great fun! Even half of that would work nicely.
