Trim Around Center Rear Vents

In the technical documents for the G05 body, they show wood trim around the rear ac controls, but on mine it’s just shiny black as opposed to the fineline trim I have elsewhere. Is this how everyone’s is?

Seems the US G05 center console rear controls match the interior color, not the trim. Maybe what you're seeing is for another market? I also checked the rear a/c controls and there's one version and shows no trim.

Just checked mine - black surround. Does not match my trim. X-Line

Thanks. I have a 40i M-Sport. It’s probably like claykin said; it’s for another market.

Black shiny plastic here. We don't have that chrome lip around the 4-zone climate buttons on the G05 either. Very unusual.

I hadn’t noticed that until you pointed it out. Even my 1st gen Touareg had wood trim in that location so I’m not sure why BMW thought it was appropriate to omit it here.

This is my rear vent stack.

I noticed my rear display is orange. I thought they were white like this one?

When the lights are on, the display is orange. However, when they are off, the display is white.
