Multi contour seat side bolsters
Are they active or just stationary? As in when you turn or make a sharp turn, so they come in to support you or stay where they are? I have them in my S63 where the bolster comes in on the side you are turning to so you don't end up leaning over, especially when making a sharp turn or a u turn

When you put it in sport mode they close up a bit more. I felt mine do it yesterday and did it twice just to make sure I wasn't going nutz. Now a true test will be in adaptive with map running, going into a curve if it will do it auto....... Hmm might have to test this.

Personally, I wish I could make them go as far in as they do when in sport mode when I'm in comfort mode. I have the bolsters as far as they will go manually but it's just not quite far enough for me. In sport mode that little extra is perfect. It's mostly fine, because I prefer sport mode but there are times, like in traffic, when I prefer comfort mode.
My wife's 2019 X3 has much tighter bolsters. |
