Is the new X6 heavier and less sporty than the X5? Interesting perspective.
I am watching a good new review of the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe versus the standard Cayenne Turbo. It turns out that the Cayenne coupe is an inferior design and requires more structural elements to get its stiffness back in the roof area compared to the SUV. The Audi A7 vs the A6 is also a heavier and less ridged design. It looks like the “coupe” look that is suppose to be sportier is just the opposite. The carbon fiber roof and coupe design is a cosmetic appearance option at best.
Is this the case with the X6 vs the X5 and X3 vs X4?? Start at the 6:30 mark. As a engineer, I like this guys reviews. He is practical and perceptive about the cars he reviews. On a different note: Watching the Cayenne Turbo review really cements my decision to go with the X5 50i M-Sport. I test drove both but I really like the 50i so much better than the Cayenne Turbo in design and function. Last edited by MystroX5; 06-19-2019 at 08:40 AM.. |

very interesting vid indeed... imo, with the slope roofline of the X6 or the Coupe, it sportier. To me, with super wide wheels, it looks like a "tank"!
If it wasnt for the wife and practicality. I would either go with a X6 or even the Porsche coupe if its within our budget! |
Appreciate
