I found out I was wrongly informed. It's a standard option now. Thank god!

I don't entirely think that's correct. They definitely aren't putting them in all the remaining 21 builds - perhaps standard for 22 onwards with the new MY SOP, though.

Laserlight is still included on the Exec Pkg for '21 builds and I'm sure '22. My order still shows it and will enter production in the next day or two. Another X5M that ended production 3 days ago just arrived at the dealer and had laserlight as well. Not sure who didn't get them.

My original week 27 allocation (with Executive) had them dropped with a credit, and it happened to another customer at my original dealer too, so that's all I'm speaking from.

So the only incentives for a 21 X5M is loyalty? No other lease cash?
My special build landed today. Surprisingly earlier than expected. I was told end of august at best.. I got the text today and plan on picking it up in the following few days. Nardo grey |

Easy answer is no. Every single vehicle is in short supply right now. Doesn't matter if it is a Corolla or X5M. Discounts were about 10% prior to mid 2020. Now you will be hard pressed to get more than a few points off, if anything at all.

Not true. Depends who you're dealing with. I got an allocation.. I was able to get a special color and big discount.. no mark up on MF and everything was smooth and to my liking. Yes some dealers won't budge. But some will. Not everyone dropping that kind of money on a car in general… so it's a 50/50 Takes time |

I got mine from Encinitas and received a discount off the MSRP. The money factor isn't all that great right now and the only lease cash is loyalty...I think it was $500. I shopped around a lot and Encinitas was willing to negotiate. I found the other dealers with 1 or 2 in stock we're destined to keep them around...plus..they were BLACK and I wanted MBB so that also limited my shopping. Seems like Black, Non-Comps are all over. If I were you, I would look down in San Diego. |

Finally got them down to sticker, and of course the CA acted like I was stealing money off his table. And of course the MF was marked up. But even at base MF, the lease payments are almost $2k per month because the residual keeps dropping. I'm not paying $2k per month for an SUV. My lease payment on my $200K NSX is only $1700. I'll wait. |

It also has a lot to do with a sales person.. unless you spoke to the GM directly who told you its not going to happen.. many of these sales guys or internet sales managers don't even run a deal through GM as they are attempting to sell higher before they even bring a deal to him/her to consider..
The current market condition doesn't help at all.. but it doesn't hurt to be consistent and keep trying.. keep in mind month end is around the corner and they should all be more flexible to moving these cars.. good luck!

i called to inquire about a 2021 X5MC and they quoted me $5k above sticker. is that common now? do you think i should ask for 10% off MSRP or am i reaching too far? if they agree on MSRP should i bite and take it? please any negotiating skill will help. i am located in Socal and i truly suck at negotiating. thanks for any tips in advance
