I'm surprised there's a single dealer still participating in the Costco program, given there is exactly zero incentive for them to do so.

Not military.

I'd love to get one of them 8% discounts.

Anyone have any dealers still offering deep discounts?

TIA!!
Call around and you will find one. I’ll share my deal with you after I lock it up on Monday. I received an impressive quote today and I’ll sign up on Monday. I have the easy opportunity to pick my car up at the South Carolina factory, so I can buy it from any dealer in the Country.

Man, the market is crazy right now. I wonder if car salesman’s job satisfaction spikes now.

Quite the opposite under most pay plans. Can't sell cars if the lot is empty.

The Costco-agreed pricing is meant to be a set price, consistent across participating dealers, but that was not my experience checking with a few. Maybe dealers have flex on whether they discount options as opposed to just the base model?

Anyhow, after checking in with 28 dealers, this is the best combo of pricing/timing/specs I could achieve for my timeframe albeit I do not have confirmed allocation so we'll see what they can do.

The situation changes so fast. PandaPuck123 said here they bought below MSRP at Momentum in Houston on 9/11 and vehicle was in-transit 9/24. I heard from Momentum yesterday 10/1 and was told that due to their waitlist an x45e "will not be here until next February".
volvo_convert Congrats, great to see you were able to order the desired vehicle. Is the vehicle under "Production Started" ?

Yeah, the situation is so fluid right now. Below is our sequence of events:

09/11 - Ordered X5
09/24 - Vehicle on truck to dealership.
09/28 - Went to dealership to pick up the ordered vehicle but wife didn't like after seeing it in person. Luckily, it was a Tuesday and they had about 6 X5's on the floor. Picked the one we liked and drove home.Got the same discount they promised on the ordered vehicle and matched vroom price for my trade in too.
10/02 - Went to get front plate bracket installed and all X5's were gone. Dealership was crazy busy. Every SA was with some customer.

Noticed my neighbor sold his Toyota Sienna and Nissan Rogue to buy a new X3 last week. He also got great price for his used vehicles.

Come to Houston and see . Dealerships are crazy busy, took them 2 hrs just to install front license plates bracket. Everyone is on computer placing orders. Vehicles come in and are picked up the same day from delivery bay.

Most of their office stalls are empty because they are quitting because there are no cars to sell.

21 x5 40i xdrive

I got my 21 x5 40i xdrive with 10% off msrp plus incentives which came out to 3500. No haggle!. I live in AZ but ordered this online from BMW of Downtown Denver. It was super easy to get the deal and order one. Here in AZ there are not giving much of a discount, you. have to fight and can get it if one is on the lot. Ordering, no discount as they have no incentive. only downside with ordering out of state is the cost to ship the car which from Denver to Az was only 900. figure its still worth it and they had allocations for xdrive versions only. I would definitely buy from them again. plus they have no extra dealer charges. seriously no other fee it was huge savings. Denver is a bit slow to send dmv stuff back to you. you have to register it all yourself a few months later.

Thanks. Are they doing this discount on 2022 models too?

When did you get it? It wasn't hard to achieve 10% 4-5 months ago but in the current market 10% is way out of the question.

One way Hertz rental car from Philly to Reading was $40 for me. Hertz drop off was a mile from the dealership. Congrats and good luck!

Hope Fx3599 won't mind me sharing this but I referred him to the dealer so I can tell you that they are currently not offering 10% off on the X5. Last Fall when I ordered my 45e and received 10% off, I was able to help multiple forum members to receive the same discount but things are different now. Let alone the 10% off, currently they have a long waitlist even to get an allocation...

Yeah I found that out this week but I was lucky to find a sane dealer out of state that gave me a fair deal plus the Penfed rebate in full. I’m able to pick the car up at the factory in SC so I was able to buy from any dealer nationwide.

Every dealer in NY, CT, NJ and some in eastern PA were all at MSRP or 2% off at the most for an allocation. Only Park Ave BMW in NJ was above MSRP. Someone mentioned BMW of Reading, they told me for out of state it would be MSRP and they would only discount (2%) for PA residents. Looks like I might extend my lease in November.

Would you be able to share the name of the dealer via PM? I am too looking to pick up the car at the factory!

For you guys that are posting your deals, your posts are completely useless if you're not posting your date of ordering. Because the market today is completely different than it was even back in May. If you haven't purchased your vehicle within the last month or so, nobody really cares because that "great" deal you received is totally irrelevant today.

I paid MSRP minus loyalty and finance incentives (total $1500) for the X3 M40i I custom ordered in early Sept. Based on my research at the time it’s a rough market in NY/NJ… very few deals to be had. SA didn’t quite laugh when I asked about getting 12% off MSRP before incentives like I did in 2019, but he was close. However, he had an allocation - and since I’d just lost my 2019 X3 30i to Ida flooding, my priority was to just get the car.

Hardly needed in today's market when you have walk-ins paying at or over MSRP
