Can we get some fresh datapoints on whether ambient lighting behind the front seats has come back or at least been more consistent?

For all you 2022 owners:

1) Do you have the LED lighting under the front seatbacks?
2) Did you option Luxury Seating Package? Executive Package? Skylounge?
3) Are you in the US?

2022 X5 40i late February production - Yes to ambient lighting on the front seat backs. Car has multi contour seats and executive package in the US.

Pic for reference, taken from my 2019 X5.

Green circled area - seatback ambient lighting, folks reported this to be missing on 2022 builds starting late last year.

Blue circled area - door handle, storage, under seat ambient lighting, smaller number reported that these were also missing in addition to the seatback lighting for 2022s

Was also curious about what option covers the seatback ambient options, if it was with sky lounge, was it executive, luxury seat package, was it a bigger motor option… I think I’ve narrowed it down to multi contour option and/or massage seat option. 2024 no longer has luxury seat package, and it’s not the executive package to simply get seatback ambient lighting. This video on YouTube is a 2024 X5 50e with executive, massage, multi contour, etc.

US Build, September '22 (MY23). Car has Multi contour and executive package and I have the ambient lighting behind the seats. I do not have the luxury seating package.

I am pretty sure that starting with MY21 (if not earlier) the ambient lighting in the front seatbacks is only available in the US with the executive package. I have MY21 45e with luxury seating and premium packages and no ambient lighting in the front seatbacks.

So, I've done a bit of research and looking carefully at my 2021 45e. I am pretty sure that in the G05 pre-LCI models in the US the ambient lighting is still there in all the areas circled in the photo except for the one in the back of the front row seats (green circled area) which is only available with the executive package. The light inside the armrest is hard to see unless it's dark out and the ambient light brightness is at the highest setting. Also, there is a small dot LED in the door handle area (the one you pull to open the door) which is not circled in the photo and which is also hard to see unless it's dark out and the ambient light brightness is at the highest setting. All in all the only change with the ambient lighting after MY2019 seems to be the absence of it in the front row seatback for those with no executive package, in the US that is.
